TIF-EsophyX is an innovative medical device for the treatment of heart disease

chronic gastroesophageal reflux (GERD).

The approach, called Transoral Fundoplication without incision (TIF), has the

potential to treat patients who do not benefit from daily medication

known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).

The TIF procedure recreates the anti-reflux barrier between the esophagus and

the stomach and is performed via trans-oral (traditional therapeutic endoscopy).
